What We Do

TerraDAC Technologies

We design modular, field-deployable environmental sensing systems that bring the subsurface into view—so operators, stewards, and federal partners can act on what's happening underground before it becomes a problem above it.

TerraStinger field deployment

TerraStinger

Subsurface Intelligence. Built for the Field.

TerraStinger is a flexible, ground-deployable monitoring system engineered to detect and interpret subtle changes beneath the surface. Built for extreme environments and adaptable across sectors, it provides the reliability needed for high-stakes carbon, energy, and infrastructure applications.

Key Capabilities:

  • Tracks CO₂ plume behavior, fugitive gas, and environmental anomalies
  • Supports deployment at multiple depth tiers and terrain types
  • Engineered for long-term, low-maintenance field operation
  • Integrates with existing monitoring frameworks and MRV systems
  • Built for harsh field environments—durable, serviceable, and audit-ready

TerraCloud

Unifying Environmental Signals—Anywhere You Are

TerraCloud is our secure, cloud-based platform that transforms raw subsurface data into real-time insight. Accessible from your phone, tablet, or desktop, it keeps decision-makers connected to the field—no matter where they are.

By integrating data from TerraStinger and other sources, TerraCloud provides a unified view of subsurface activity, helping teams detect early risk, streamline compliance, and support better decisions across the lifecycle of carbon, energy, and environmental operations.

Why This Matters

Subsurface monitoring is structurally hard. The signals are weak, the environments are unforgiving, and the consequences of missing something travel for years. Most of the systems operators inherited are static, disconnected from day-to-day operations, and built for one-time studies rather than continuous accountability.

The work is shifting. Regulators expect more. Operators carry the burden of proof. Communities expect visibility.

Across the sectors we serve, the same need keeps surfacing:

  • Real-time visibility into what's moving underground—not quarterly reports after the fact

  • Audit-ready data that holds up to regulator, partner, and community scrutiny

  • Field-hardened systems that survive harsh deployment conditions over long timelines

  • Modular monitoring that fits the site, the budget, and the question being asked

We build for that reality. Honest data, captured close to the source, delivered to the people responsible for acting on it.

Public Funding & Development Path

U.S. Department of Energy
University of Oklahoma

TerraStinger is supported in part by a U.S. Department of Energy Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award, with the University of Oklahoma as our research partner. This support has enabled us to prototype, validate, and harden our systems alongside academic institutions and industry collaborators. We're working with stakeholders across the country to develop deployment strategies and strengthen the practice of monitoring in the energy and climate sectors.

Partner With Us

The future of environmental monitoring isn't just technical—it's collaborative. We co-design with the people driving energy transition, protecting ecosystems, securing infrastructure, and stewarding land. If you're leading a climate project, advancing field deployments, or shaping the next standard for what good monitoring looks like, we want to work alongside you.

We're open to conversations about:

  • Pilot programs and field testing
  • Integration with existing MRV systems
  • Joint research and technology development
  • Long-term deployment partnerships

Let's build what the future demands. Together.
